Chloe's Ability

Thomas in Santa Rosa, California: Smallville! Do you know when we will find out what Chloe's power is?

Yep. Chloe's power will be revealed during the season finale, and Lois Lane plays a large role in the big reveal. Eek!

Jake in Houston: Anything you can tell us about Chloe's abilities?

Sources tell me it is a lot like the scene between Peter Petrelli and Claire on tonight's Heroes. See, now I just made you S-ville fans watch Heroes. Call that the power of persuasion of an obnoxious tease!

Did anyone else catch a glimpse of this last night on Smallville? Looks fun and interesting. I have little doubt that Smallville is coming back for a 7th season!!!

Lynda Carter Previews Her Wonderful Smallville Visit

TV Guide: This wasn't the first time Smallville approached you about a role. What was it about this particular part that won you over?
Lynda Carter: You get offered things quite often and sometimes you'll get a script for a show that you like, but you're not crazy about the character. Or, you've played the heroine role a million times when you've been around as long as I have. But the fact that this character was formerly psychotic, that she was in a catatonic state, there's a wonderful character arc there. Moira is a bit of a soap opera in one person: love, loss, magic meteorites. So I told them I would love to do it.

TV Guide: Do you watch Smallville?
Carter: I like the show — it's got a beautiful look, it's well done, and it's well thought out. I don't follow it [every week] but my daughter asked me to get her one of the DVDs for Christmas last year, so I was pretty familiar with what was happening.

TV Guide: How was your experience on the set?

Another Death Coming

Tessa in Grand Rapids, Michigan: What's coming up on Smallville?

You aren't gonna like it. My sources tell me another character (a second one) is leaving the show by season's end.

7th Season to be last?

Michael Rosenbaum discusses the 7th season and his Character Lex Luther

EXCLUSIVE: Michael Rosenbaum Talks Smallville

“Lex is getting darker and lets all his colors show! All hell will break loose!”

While promoting his latest break-dancing comedy, Kickin’ It Old School, Michael Rosenbaum dished some dirt on the remaining episodes of this season of Smallville, as well as next year.

He sadly confirmed that next season will his last, and most likely the show’s last season as well; we also got into the direction he’s taking Lex. Here’s what else we talked about:

So how’s the shooting going on Smallville?

Michael Rosenbaum: We’re finishing up; Monday’s my last day, and then I’m going to Paris for a while, but it’s really great, I have to say. It’s a great year, the ratings are consistently high. It’s great when you’re on a show that has that longevity, but it’s even better when a show’s ratings are so high; our show’s ratings are just as high as the first couple seasons. We’re creating more an…

Major Death Coming Soon

My guess is Chloe.

Attention Smallville fans: This news might make you feel like you have butterflies made out of Kryptonite in your stomach, so read at your own risk.

Inside sources tell me exclusively that one of the main four castmembers—Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Allison Mack or Kristin Kreuk—will be killed off before the season ends.

Although all of these castmembers are under contract for one more season (they initially signed seven-year deals), producers have decided to have one of their characters meet an untimely end, in a shocking plot twist.

Naming exactly who is going six feet under would ruin the viewer experience (and probably prevent me from cozying up to any CW cuties at future C-Dub events) so I'll simply tell you this regarding the soon-to-be-deceased character's identity: It is someone who is most definitely a fan favorite. And I think you're gonna freak.

Noir - Updated Info + Promotional Photos

Click on the photos to enlarge.

The CW has announced highlights for May sweeps including a special Film Noir episode of "Smallville" shot partially in black and white, in which Jimmy Olsen (Aaron Ashmore) sees what life in Smallville would have been like in the 1940s.

The dream sequence will take Jimmy back in time to a jazz night club across from "The Daily Planet" where he, Chloe and Clark work as reporters.

Paying homage to his "Superman" incarnation, Clark Kent will be portrayed as a bespectacled reporter by the day and an invincible crime fighter by night.

When Lana is shot, Clark races against time to find the culprit, while Chloe, Jimmy and Lois do a bit of snooping around of their own.

The episode will air on Thursday, May 3 at 8/7c, prior to a special episode of "Supernatural" (9/8c)

Flash Gordon series to land on TV

Eric Johnson, who left behind "Smallville," is headed to outer space as Flash Gordon.

Johnson will play the adventurous Gordon in a new Sci Fi Channel series that puts an updated spin on the comic book character and his adventures.

The 22-hour series is set to debut in August with Gordon, backed by his classic cohorts Dale Arden and Dr. Zarkov, trying to safeguard Earth against attack by the cruel intergalactic predator, Ming.

Casting is under way for the other roles.

Johnson, a native of Edmonton, Canada, played Whitney Fordman on CW's Superman saga, "Smallville." His character joined the Marines and was killed in the line of duty.

"Flash Gordon" is being produced by Reunion Pictures under an agreement with King Features Syndicate, which owns the comic-book franchise. The Gordon character, originally drawn in 1934 by Alex Raymond, has been featured in radio serials, serial films, feature films, TV films and TV shows.

Production on the new show is scheduled…

Great little article from my Friends over at BuddyTV.

The chatter at my favorite Smallville site,, is that somebody might be leaving Smallville this season. Say it isn't so! As much as I'd hate to see ANY of the Smallville regulars leave, (particularly Michael Rosenbaum who has, unfortunately, already announced his intentions to leave next season), you just can't resist the sweet nector of speculation. Who are the odds on? Who are the odds off? Is there anyone that Smallville can do without, What loss would devastate fans of the show?

Listening to the experts, it seems the most obvious choice is John Glover, who plays Lionel Luthor. Apparently he has announced some big career changes for 2007/2008 that don't leave much room for a Smallville stint. There can be no upside to this. With Rosenbaum cashing in his Lex Luthor chips, and Lionel hitting the road behind him, Smallville would be left with a huge established villain shaped hole. What would …

Steve Deknight interview

Steven DeKnight, co-executive producer of The CW's Smallville, told SCI FI Wire that Lana Lang's pregnancy will be the main focus of the series when it returns with original episodes, starting on April 19 with "Progeny,"

an episode that features former Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter. "That's going to come to a head," DeKnight said in an interview. "It won't be resolved, but twist and turns will be revealed. ... Definitely. The triangle [of Clark, Lex and Lana] will definitely become more pointed on all corners. Cross my fingers, the end of the season looks pretty damn exciting."

Meanwhile, Lois Lane will be featured in a big way in "Prototype," an episode DeKnight wrote. "She's always a delight to write for," he said. "I really like the way we've moved the Clark/Lois storyline along this year. You're starting to see glimmers of interest, even though neither one of them would ever admit it."
