Episode 7.14 - Traveler

Aaron Douglas has been confirmed as be playing Pierce.

Episode 7.15 - Veritas

Even though Clark and Lana have some bumps after the whole Bizarro thing, it sounds like they will still be in a relationship by season's end.

- Kristin Kreuk has implied in a CW interview that the season ends on a cliffhanger, should things end with episode #15. The big cliffhangers, and the episode itself, deal more with the mythology of the series than the romantic relationships. There's a lot of big stuff on the way though...

Episode 7.14 - Traveler

Aaron Douglas of Battlestar Galactica fame has booked a guest role on Smallville, which we are assuming is the role of the previously-mentioned "Pierce." Douglas has actually appeared on Smallville before, in the first season episode "Obscura."

Updates for Episodes 7.13 and 7.14

Episode 7.13 - Hero
Pete's stretching ability comes from meteor-laced chewing gum. Sure it's cheesy, but it sounds like Old School Smallville to us!

Episode 7.14 - Traveler
Allison Mack and Kristin Kreuk have said in recent interviews that they'd gotten to work together again, and that there's an episode where they work with Laura Vandervoort and the three of them (Chloe, Lana, and Kara) have a sort of "girl power team up." This is the episode they were talking about.

Chloe Sullivan Heads To Comics

Longtime Smallville viewers get a treat on March 12th. That’s when Superman #674 hits the streets, and Chloe Sullivan hits Metropolis. For years, the intrepid young reporter has been a favorite of viewers, and though hints had been dropped about her arrival in the DCU, she never materialized. Now, she’s finally joining up with the Man of Steel’s supporting cast in the comics. From the outset, Superman Editor Matt Idelson points the finger at series writer Kurt Busiek for bringing Chloe on board – “This was all Kurt’s idea, and it’s something we’d first talked about a couple of years ago.”

But bringing a television character to comics does come with some hurdles. Even though they are owned by the same parent company (Time-Warner), DC had to get clearances with Warner Bros. as well as actress Allison Mack, both to use the character as well as to make sure the comic book version looked like “Chole,” but not exactly like Mack (likeness rights are a whole other ballgame).

Nor will the “Chloe…

Episode 7.12 - Fracture

The amnesiac Kara goes by the name "Linda," kind of a nod to the "Linda Lee Danvers" persona from the comics. Aaron Ashmore (Jimmy) does not appear in this episode.

Episode 7.10 - Persona

- By now you've seen the conclusion of "Gemini," and it appears that Bizarro has taken Clark's place! How and why? We're going to have to wait a few months to see!
- That "so happy I could fly" line? Bizarro. (Sorry!)
- Bizarro will want Brainiac's help to be able to remain "Clark" forever.
- Expect some father/"son" interaction between Lionel and "Julian."
- Clark is not going to be happy when he finds out how smoothly things have been going between Bizarro and Lana.
- Chloe will be the first to notice that Clark has been behaving strangely and is not remembering things that the real Clark should know.
- Lex's new business venture, as revealed in "Gemini," is as the new owner of the Daily Planet.

Exclusive Interview: Erica Durance, from 'Smallville'
Wednesday, December 12, 2007

Erica Durance will forever be Lois Lane. The Canadian actress came out of nowhere to snag the iconic role of Lois Lane on the popular CW drama Smallville a few years back and hasn't looked back since. Durance's Lois Lane is not your parents' Lois Lane either - Smallville fans can attest to that. What started as a part-time role, Lois Lane is now a regular and integral character on Smallville. Durance is currently in the middle of Smallville's seventh season and took the time to speak with us last week about her acting career and her time on Smallville.

Below you will find both the written transcript and full mp3 audio of the interview.

I guess I'll start off by going back a few years. Can you just tell us how you ended up in the role of Lois Lane on Smallville?

It was basically a little bit of a lottery, as everything is in this business, but I had been up here working in Vancouver for a long time -- this is where I live -- doing guest star roles, and just trying…

Latest from Ausiello

Question: It's been forever since you gave us some scoop about Smallville. Got anything? Please? Pretty please? — Angie
Ausiello: I can confirm that Jane Seymour is returning for the final pre-strike episode (No. 15), which probably won't air until February. It's safe to say she'll appear in a flashback since Lana stabbed her to death in Season 4. I think it's also safe to say said flashback will finally reveal both why her character was such a raging bitch and what connection she has to a certain Smallville villain (cough, Brainiac, cough).

Pete Ross Returns to Smallville

December 6, 2007 - Clark Kent is about to be reunited with an old friend, as Sam Jones III returns to Smallville in the role of Pete Ross. IGN TV has the scoop on Pete's return, which will take place in an upcoming episode called "Hero."

Pete was a big part of the early seasons of Smallville, becoming the first person on the series -- outside of the Kent family -- to discover Clark's superpowers and alien heritage. Pete eventually moved to Wichita, and Jones left the show at the end of Season 3. Since that time there have been occasional rumors that Jones might make a guest appearance on the show, but Smallville producers previously said that scheduling issues prevented that from happening... until now that is.

Those not wishing to know any of the details of Pete's return to Smallville should skip to after the below photo.

We've learned that in the episode Pete will have an encounter with kryptonite, which ends up giving him a superpower of his own. How this wil…

Episode 7.15 - Veritas

Thanks to Kryptonsite for the following.

Guest Stars: James Marsters (Brainiac), Jane Seymour (Genevieve Teague, unconfirmed)

Roles currently being cast for "Veritas" include Robert Queen, Young Jason Teague, Young Oliver Queen, and Young Patricia Swann. Do I smell a flashback? And why not just get the guy who played a younger version of Dean on Supernatural?

- (Thanks to S.A.M. for this spoiler) Yes, it is a flashback, and the villain from Smallville's past that might be back is Genevieve Teague. She's is the casting sides at the very least. The scene in question is a flashback to when Lionel, Swann, the Queens, and the Teagues were all working together in the late 1980s.
